Whitehills is a traditional fishing village, located two miles west of Banff and four miles east of Portsoy on the Banffshire coast of northeast Scotland.
The District surrounding Whitehills is a mix of farmland and scattered hamlets, including Boyndie and Inverboyndie.
Due to it’s sheltered location on a picturesque bay under Knock Head the historical coastal village of Whitehills provided an ideal base for a prosperous fishing industry from as early as the 1700s.
